Thanksgiving

A lazy, hokey post about what I'm thankful for as an NBA fan? Yes, please!

Derrick Rose's body control

Tony Parker's floater

14th century Englishmen, because they came up with the word "unbridled" and without them I would have no other way to describe Blake Griffin

Blake Griffin (second one is the best but the third is actually my favorite)

Ron Artest's press conferences

Dwight Howard's now automatic ten-foot bank shot

Deron Williams' crossover

Chris Paul's double crossover

Kobe Bryant's footwork

New statistics and research that give every fan the opportunity to be a more knowledgable fan

Every NBA team being watchable and entertaining (except you, Detroit)

LeBron James, for making the NBA popular again

Michael Jordan, for making the NBA popular in the first place

James Harden's beard

Manu Ginobli's everything, even his receding hairline and ever-growing baldspot

Tim Duncan's past, Chris Paul's present and Kevin Durant's future

Earl Boykins, for fitting so much game into so small a frame

Ray Allen's jumpshot

Space Jam, that movie was on tv today. It is freaking sweet.

And thankful for being a Lakers fan. It eases the pain of the long summer/fall months of watching the Redskins and Orioles continue to suck. Horribly. Go Kobe.

"Thanksgiving dinners take eighteen hours to prepare.  They are consumed in twelve minutes.  Half-times take twelve minutes.  This is not coincidence."  Erma Bombeck
